Jack Wilshere retires
The most surprising part of this for me, is that he's only 30.

Re: Jack Wilshere retires
All this bollocks he mugged us off.

He didn't put a gun to our head , we chose to sign him on big wages despite his nickname being wheelchair, and after previous disasters Andy Carroll and Kieron dyer.

You have to be a special kind of idiot to ignore that and sign him anyway.

I called it soon as we were linked , it will be a disaster. Many others did too.

We mugged off ourselves, again.

I'm with Eerie, before his injuries he was a class act, an immense talent.

The mercenary cunt retired the day he joined us.

Showed zero class and stole a wage off of West Ham, good riddance

Re: Jack Wilshere retires
Luck gave him outrageous talent, and luck took it away again.

He seems to think the first action of luck was just his God-given right, and the second is so unfair that he should be compensated.

Most of all by West Ham fans.

Re: Jack Wilshere retires
I'll be honest and say I much prefer Devonshire to Wilshere. The latter is all about money and a hole in the rock that's always falling down, while Devonshire is all about the capacity to drive to pubs on lonely hilltops up and down small winter roads in style, at speed. Bigger moustaches in Devonshire, too, if people like that sort of thing.

Wilshere would have been a superstar if it wasn’t for injuries.

Re: Jack Wilshere retires
He made his England debut at 18, and looked England's best player by a mile before the injuries set in.

I get that he fucked us over, but you're being a fucking idiot to deny how good a talent he was.

Re: Jack Wilshere retires
He was never special ffs reel it in. A few decent performances when he was 19-21 and nothing since

Re: Jack Wilshere retires
He wasn't overrated ffs. Injuries absolutely fucked him, but when he was late teens early 20's, he was a ridiculous talent.

Was fucked when he joined us, and took us for a ride, but let's not rewrite history about how good he was.

Re: Jack Wilshere retires
Massively over-rated player, even when he was fit. Floated like a butterfly and stung like one, too. We should never have touched him, childhood fan or not.

Over-rated, made of glass and a bit of a prick. I’m with Keane on this one.

I’ll always remember him as one of the England side humiliated by Iceland.

Proper mugged us off. He burnt Sullivan bad, and to be fair we haven't touched an injury prone player since. An Arsenal scumbag, I only wish ill upon the little cunt.

Re: Jack Wilshere retires
He’s still banging on about stuff outside of his control;

“In truth it has been difficult to accept that my career has been slipping away in recent times due to reasons outside of my control whilst feeling that I have still had so much to give”

What an absolute clown. What are these things outside his control?

Another one from the football World who has made untold millions and been injured for the most part of his career.

He lived out a dream existence, warming our bench for 100K week, if he ever made it that far.

It's all very well you lot laying into our Jack, but have any of you lot* stopped for even one minute to consider how the poor lamb's going to afford his 40 Bennies a day? They're fourteen quid a packet now, you know.

*risks being labelled racist and banned by the BBC for ever and ever.
